The Annapolis Symphony Orchestra is delighted to announce that Gabriela Frank, the well-known, young American composer of contemporary classical music, is joining the organization as composer-in-residence for the next two seasons.

ANNAPOLIS, MD – On Friday and Saturday, September 23 and 24, at 8:00pm the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra, under the musical direction of José-Luis Novo, opens its 50th anniversary season with a concert at Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts. Elizabeth Richebourg Rea has made one of the largest single gifts in the history of the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra to honor her father, Philip Richebourg, who passed away in April at the age of 91. The gift will underwrite the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra’s 50th Anniversary Season in memory of Mr. Richebourg, the organization’s first Board president.
