Annapolis celebrates the holidays with the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra’s annual Holiday Pops, this year featuring the acclaimed Capitol Quartet. One of the most popular holiday events each year, this concert is a wonderful way to rejoice in the sounds of the season with the excitement and energy of a full symphony orchestra and the entertaining style of the CQ.

Maestro José-Luis Novo leads the ASO in an evening of favorites that includes selections from The Nutcracker, and the Capitol Quartet’s exuberant Swing, Swing, Swing. The concert is held on Friday, December 17 at 8:00pm at Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts in Annapolis.

The Capitol Quartet is widely considered to be among the most exciting chamber ensembles performing today. Their exhilarating virtuosity, musical versatility and innovative style has brought them fans throughout the United States. The musicians come from some of America's leading music schools and leading U.S. Military bands.

Marvin Hamlisch raves about the Capitol Quartet. He says: "their fabulous sound, professionalism and innovative program all combine for a wonderfully entertaining musical experience."

Tickets for the ASO Holiday Pops concert are available from $25 with student tickets available for just $10.
