Peter Serkin Plays Brahms

ANNAPOLIS, MD – The Annapolis Symphony Orchestra’s (ASO) 2013-2014 season continues with concerts at Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts on Friday, November 1 and Saturday, November 2, 2013 at 8pm. Under the musical direction of Maestro José-Luis Novo, the ASO will be accompanied by world-renowned pianist Peter Serkin. These performances will feature Benjamin Britten’s Variations on a Theme of Frank Bridge, Frank Bridge’s The Sea, and Johannes Brahms’ Piano Concerto No. 2.

Annapolis Symphony Orchestra Announces New Executive Director

Annapolis - The Board of Trustees of the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra (ASO) is pleased to announce that Jeth Mill has been named Executive Director. Mr. Mill will provide leadership and vision to achieve the orchestra’s continued goals of artistic excellence, community engagement, and education outreach.

Board Chairman Harley Flack says, “The ASO is excited to welcome Jeth to Annapolis. He brings a passion for music and experience leading orchestral organizations that will take our symphony to the next level.”  

Annapolis Symphony Orchestra Presents Opening Night with the ASO

ANNAPOLIS, MD – The Annapolis Symphony Orchestra’s (ASO) 2013-2014 season-opening concerts at Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts will be held on Friday, September 27, 2013 and Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 8pm. Under the musical direction of Maestro José-Luis Novo, the ASO will be accompanied by acclaimed cellist Mark Kosower for these concerts which will feature Samuel Barber’s Second Essay, Edouard Lalo’s Cello Concerto, and Jean Sibelius’ Symphony No. 1.
