Schumann and Symphonic Storytelling

The Annapolis Symphony Orchestra continues its 2012-2013 season at Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts on Friday, March 1, and Saturday, March 2, at 8 PM. Under the musical direction of Maestro José-Luis Novo, the ASO will be accompanied by acclaimed soprano, Jessica Rivera for these concerts which will feature Witold Lutoslawski’s Mala Suita (Little Suite), Music Alive Composer-in-Residence Gabriela Lena Frank’s La Centinela y la Paloma (The Keeper and the Dove), and Robert Schumann’s Symphony No.

Education Outreach Programs

ASO Expands Its Educational Outreach Programs to Annapolis High School

Annapolis, MD – February 21, 2013 - The Annapolis Symphony Orchestra is pleased to announce the expansion of its Adopt-a-School education program to the high school level. Through a grant from the Paul M. Angell Family Foundation, professional ASO musicians will now visit Annapolis High School to mentor and coach students in both band and orchestra programs.
