ANNAPOLIS, MD – The Annapolis Symphony Orchestra continues its 2012-2013 season at Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts on Friday, November 2, and Saturday, November 3, at 8 PM. Under the musical direction of Maestro José-Luis Novo, the ASO will be accompanied by acclaimed cellist, Zuill Bailey for these concerts which will feature Frank Joseph Haydn’s Symphony No. 88, Music Alive Composer-in-Residence Gabriela Lena Frank’s Requiem for a Magical America: El Día de los Muertos, and Antonín Dvořák’s Cello Concerto.
ANNAPOLIS, MD – The Annapolis Symphony Orchestra’s (ASO) 2012-2013 season-opening concerts at Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts will be held on Friday, September 28, 2012 and Saturday, September 29, 2012 at 8 PM. Under the musical direction of Maestro José-Luis Novo, the ASO will be accompanied by acclaimed British pianist Michael Roll for these concerts which will feature John Mackey’s Redline Tango, Ludwig van Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 3, and a suite from Sergei Prokofiev’s Romeo and Juliet.

It was all glitz, glamour and gold on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at the Loews Annapolis Hotel as the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra (ASO) hosted its annual ball. This year’s event marked a very special occasion for the ASO as it celebrates its Golden (50 Year) Anniversary. “The ASO has grown into one of the finest arts organizations in the area and continues to thrive and gain far-reaching recognition as such.
