EDUCATION AND OUTREACH
The goals of the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra's youth education programs are as follows:
- To introduce second grade students to a live symphony orchestra in concert.
- To persuade children that classical music is exciting, stimulating, and fun to listen to.
- To encourage students to study a musical instrument.
- To give them a rudimentary knowledge of the composition of the symphony orchestra and the structure of classical music.
