PRE-CONCERT LECTURES
The Annapolis Symphony Orchestra offers FREE pre-concert lectures at 6:45 pm prior to all Classic Series performances at Maryland Hall. The lectures help to enhance the experience of attending symphonic performances, providing historical and insightful perspectives on symphonic repertoire and performance practices.
British pianist and musicologist Dr. Rachel Franklin of the University of Maryland leads the ASO's pre-concert lectures. Her sessions have been praised by ASO patrons as both highly entertaining and enlightening. For more information about Dr. Franklin, please click here to be taken to her website.
