ADOPT-A-SCHOOL MUSIC PARTNERSHIPS
The orchestra partners with two public schools in a relationship that allows young students to obtain substantial guidance and experience working with accomplished musicians. Professional musicians from the ASO visit instrumental music classes in each school on a monthly basis, assisting the students in their musical progress. Each year in the spring the program culminates with an exciting Side By Side concert at Maryland Hall, with students performing in concert “side by side” with ASO musicians!
