ANNAPOLIS, MD – On Friday December 16, at 8:00pm, the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra, under the musical direction of José-Luis Novo, performs our Lexus Holiday Pops concert, entitled Simply Sinatra Christmas, at Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts.

Simply Sinatra Christmas is a festive new holiday show featuring Pops sensation Steve Lippia.  In this show, Steve preforms some of the most well-know and beloved Frank Sinatra songs as well as a variety of popular Christmas songs.  This show is a wonderful blend of holiday cheer, memories and jazz/swing standards with an energetic flair that only a big band can provide.

Audiences will be treated to great tunes such as Come Fly with Me, All The Way, Summer Wind, Lady Is a Tramp and I’ve Got You Under My Skin, as well as Christmas favorites like The First Noel, I’ll Be Home for Christmas, Let It Snow, White Christmas, Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, Jingle Bells and the Christmas Waltz.

Steve Lippia has become one of the most prominent, in-demand vocalists and has quickly established his place among the finest interpreters of “standards” and traditional pop music in the nation.  Steve’s youthful, energetic talent and powerful show creates a perfect blend of “classic” with “today.”  His show introduces a new generation to this timeless music, while appealing to long-time listeners.

Adult tickets are $45 and student tickets are $10.  Tickets for these concerts can be purchased through the ASO website at www.annapolissymphony.org, by calling 410-263-0907, or by stopping by the ASO Box Office in room 204 at Maryland Hall in Annapolis, Monday through Friday, 9:30am – 5:30pm.
